POUR LA RELÂCHE, AMENEZ LA FÊTE FORAINE CHEZ VOUS!

Running out of ideas for entertaining the youngest ones this year during the spring break? Don’t panic, we’ve thought of you! To help you make the most of this week off, we’ve put together a list of 5 activities to liven up your days. Let yourself be inspired by our ideas for activities that are simple to carry out and bring the funfair to your home!

1. BRING OUT YOUR ARTISTIC SIDE

Get out the scissors, hot glue and pens: it’s arts and crafts time! And we’re not talking about simply cutting out colored cardboard, no no. Here is a tutorial for making a great game of “Chamboule tout” (literally “turn everything upside down”). Get crafting your “Chamboule-tout”: some tins, a few sheets of card, some glue, two or three pens and you’re done.

2. EXPLORE YOUR CULINARY TALENTS

What could be more tempting than the sweets on offer at the funfair? Today, we invite you to get your hands dirty with your little ones and enjoy some delicious taffy apples together. Great memories and lots of fun to share!

3. OUTDOOR FUN WITH A DIFFERENCE

The weather may not always be good during the spring break, but that’s no reason to stay indoors all week! If the weather permits, why not take the opportunity to take on challenges and compete outdoors?

Use food coloring to draw circles and squares in the snow. Invite your children to hit them with snowballs. For a variation, you can also have them throw snowballs as high as possible at a tree trunk. Finally, it doesn’t take much to have endless fun! Shops to find the products:

4. ORGANIZE A DAY OF MOVIES AT HOME

Take advantage of the last day of spring break to relax completely before getting back into the swing of things. What could be better than watching a movie with the family in the comfort of your living room? To create a “movie theater” atmosphere, here is our advice:

  • Create or print tickets, the little ones will enjoy playing along.
  • Make butter or caramel popcorn for the braver ones.
  • Set up a comfortable area with blankets, cushions and soft lighting.
  • Choose a movie that everyone will like. To be transported to the world of funfairs, rides and treats, we recommend: Le Parc des Merveilles, Dumbo in its revisited version or even Histoire de jouets 4.

5. MAKEUP AND COSTUME, THE RECIPE FOR HAPPINESS

Who said that dressing up was only for Halloween? Get out the paint brushes, make-up, the most improbable accessories and the most beautiful costumes and let your creativity run wild!

We’d better warn you, it’s highly likely that some dads will find themselves dressed up as a unicorn or a snow queen…
